PalmRide

PalmRide launched on September 16, 2021, and received a handful of patches and minor updates in the months following release. On October 24, 2022, the developer shipped a Steam Deck native port and stated their intention to bring the game to a more "final" state — this was the last substantive update to PalmRide itself. On September 12, 2024, the developer posted a third-anniversary message explicitly acknowledging that the game has seen "minimal updates" since launch. Crucially, they confirmed that their active development focus has fully shifted to a sequel — **PalmRide: After Flight** (a separate Steam listing) — which was expected to release in 2025. The developer announced the sequel's Steam page in February 2024 and began building community around it, signaling that PalmRide (the original) has reached its final state. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced roadmap for the original game, and no developer communications suggesting any further content is coming to PalmRide. The last meaningful update to the game was the Steam Deck port on October 24, 2022, and the developer's own words confirm the game has been in minimal-update mode since then. PalmRide is a complete, finished product.
