Pandamonia released out of Early Access on April 29, 2019. The solo developer (Hoffman Chang) has continued to update the game sporadically since then, but communications have been irregular and the gap between updates has grown significantly over time. After leaving Early Access, the developer posted a 'Zodiac Signs' DLC that was partially implemented as of March 17, 2020 (version 0.2c), with underground maps still unfinished. A follow-up post on June 15, 2020 apologized for the DLC's slow progress and outlined ambitious plans — a visual rendering overhaul and a possible multiplayer online mode — to begin in September 2020. Neither of these plans has been publicly delivered. The most recent developer communication was on January 18, 2024, which shipped a dubbed audio version and a shadow mode fix (version 0.3a). That post itself included the note: "I don't know how long shall I wait for the next update," signaling the developer's own uncertainty about future work. There have been no further posts since that date as of June 26, 2026 — a gap of over two years. The Zodiac Signs DLC was announced and partially released but never completed. The multiplayer/co-op mode was discussed as far back as 2019 and again in 2020, but no progress has been publicly shared. Given the outstanding commitments that were never formally resolved, combined with more than two years of silence from the developer, it's unclear whether active development is continuing.
