Pankapu launched in two episodic parts. Episode 1 released on September 21, 2016, and the developer announced Episode 2 in development shortly after. Episode 2 shipped on September 20, 2017, at which point the developer declared the full game complete — describing it as "the last part of Pankapu" with all three Aegis characters now available. Following the Episode 2 release, only bug-fix patches were issued (the last developer communication appears to be a localization and control fix on October 24, 2017). All DLC listed on the store — the official soundtrack and Episode 2 — has been released. No further content has been announced, no roadmap exists, and the developer has made no posts since late 2017. The game shipped as a complete two-episode narrative and all planned content has been delivered.
