Paper Beast - Folded Edition launched on October 20, 2020 as a non-VR adaptation of the original Paper Beast VR game. It has received one piece of post-launch paid content: a VR Upgrade DLC released on July 27, 2022, which rounds out the game's content offering. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no developer announcements of future content or expansions, and no roadmap pointing to anything additional. The only post-launch developer communication beyond the launch announcement and that DLC was a security patch on October 10, 2025, addressing a Unity engine vulnerability — routine maintenance rather than a signal of new content development. With all released DLC shipped, no outstanding commitments communicated, and no sustained pattern of major content updates beyond the single DLC, the game appears to have been a complete, self-contained product since the VR Upgrade DLC launched in July 2022.
