Piko Piko launched in Steam Early Access on August 15, 2019 and reached its full 1.0 release on April 27, 2022, when the developer published a post titled "Full version has been released today!" announcing the complete game was now available. On November 6, 2023, the developer announced a full remake of Piko Piko — rebuilt from scratch with new graphics, overhauled gameplay, an expanded story, and a new playable character (Nyan). However, that announcement described a separate upcoming product (a remake), not additional content for the existing game. There have been no further developer posts since that November 2023 announcement, and there is no indication this remake has shipped or that it will replace/update the current game on this store listing. The remake announcement does not constitute unshipped DLC or a roadmap commitment for this version of the game. The only DLC released for this game is the soundtrack (November 19, 2022), which has shipped. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The last update of any kind to the existing game was the 1.0 launch in April 2022. The game launched as a finished product at that point, with no post-launch content cadence established for the released version. The game is complete as shipped.
