Nyaruru Fishy Fight launched into Early Access on July 29, 2022 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on June 13, 2023. The game has a clear development arc: it shipped with 10 bosses in Early Access, steadily added content throughout 2022–2023, and reached its promised final version in mid-2023.
After the 1.0 release, the developer continued working on the game and, on July 12, 2024, announced a major planned addition: a new map, a new boss, and a new alternate ending where Professor Sakura joins the party to fight the unsealed Plague Witch — a story branch that was not possible in any existing ending. That content shipped as Version 1.10 on August 11, 2025.
Version 1.10 appears to be the culmination of the post-launch content cycle. The July 2024 announcement described the new ending as the specific idea that "inspired" the update, and the August 2025 release delivered exactly what was described — a new map, new boss, and new ending. No further content has been announced since Version 1.10 shipped. The developer has not published any post-1.10 roadmap, teaser, or statement indicating more content is planned.
The only DLC is the game's soundtrack, which was released at launch. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The developer has not communicated any intention to continue adding content beyond what Version 1.10 delivered.
Given that the post-launch content cycle culminated with the Version 1.10 update on August 11, 2025, and no further content has been announced as of today (June 24, 2026), the game appears to be content-complete.

About this game
This game is a Metroidvania game with intense battles. Nyaruru is living in a small town. One day a strange thing happened. Everyone magically grew cat ears and tails which looked just like Nyaruru, so Nyaruru started her adventure of investigation and uncovering the truth.
Triple attack: Swing the fish sword back and forth quickly, deal a lot of damage in a second.
Upward attack: Slash up and knock the enemy into the air.
Downward attack: Slash down and bounce after hit, reset double jump and dash.
Dash: Dash forward with no foreswing and backswing.
Speed up and jump: Jump into the air and keep high speed moving before land to the ground.
Sneak: Step on a skateboard, reduce Nyaruru's hitbox height.
You will control Nyaruru to fight against various enemies and collect Catcoins in the complex game world.
Observation and a small amount of practice are the key to clear the game, especially for high difficulty, finding a strategy will make the fight easier.
Each BOSS has completely different mechanics, the corresponding gameplay is also very different. But there are many abilities that Nyaruru can learn. Choosing the appropriate abilities and accessories and using skills properly will be the key to defeat the BOSS.

Dive and thrust downward quickly. Generate an energy wave and cause damage to the enemies around Nyaruru, or even behind her! You will like this if you have to turn your back to your enemy.
Keep flipping over in the air and attacking everything near Nyaruru, bounce after hit and reset the double jump and dash. You will like this if your enemy can fly into the air and you have a hard time reaching them.
