Pill Baby launched on March 25, 2022. Shortly after launch, on March 28, 2022, the developer announced two planned updates: keyboard control customization and a free roguelike arcade mode. Both of these commitments were delivered — keyboard remapping shipped on April 5, 2022, and the Arcade mode launched on August 26, 2022. That Arcade mode post was the last update to Pill Baby itself. Since then, the developer has moved on to other projects. A post on September 16, 2024 announced a different game (Judero) from the same developer's network, and a January 22, 2025 post announced yet another new game (Mashina) on Kickstarter. Neither of these posts references any further content or updates for Pill Baby. All content that was promised for Pill Baby has been delivered. The developer has not announced any additional updates, DLC, or expansions since August 2022, and communications since then have been focused entirely on unrelated new games. Pill Baby appears to have launched as a complete experience and received the full set of post-launch updates that were planned.
