Pool Nation launched on October 18, 2013 and received a consistent stream of patches and feature updates throughout its first year. The November 2014 update was the most substantial, introducing the Box of Tricks sandbox mode, Workshop integration, UK 8-Ball rules, and a suite of cosmetic DLC packs — all of which shipped on November 5, 2014. The final major update on record was published on October 29, 2015, introducing the Pool Hall online hub, new snooker rules, additional camera options, and various fixes. That post also cross-promoted the studio's newer title, Pool Nation FX, suggesting the team's focus had shifted to the sequel. All seven DLC packs are released, with none listed as upcoming. There have been no developer news posts, patches, or announcements since October 29, 2015 — a period spanning nearly a decade with no communication.
