Sports Bar VR (originally launched as Pool Nation VR on June 1, 2016) received a steady stream of updates throughout 2016 and 2017. The developer shipped multiple feature updates in 2016 adding darts, air hockey AI, performance improvements, and multiplayer enhancements, followed by the game's biggest release: the free Version 2.0 update on December 1, 2017, which added full cross-platform multiplayer across Steam, Oculus, and PlayStation VR, two new games, daily challenges, a ticket economy, and extensive avatar customization. A bug-fix patch followed on December 12, 2017 to address issues found after the 2.0 launch. That December 12, 2017 patch is the last recorded developer communication. No further updates, announcements, roadmaps, or developer posts have appeared since that date. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no outstanding commitments referenced in any post, and no developer statements about future content planned beyond what was already shipped. The game has no paid DLC and no live-service or seasonal content structure.
