Poptropica launched on Steam on May 25, 2022 as a collection of 17 pre-existing islands and episodic adventures, originally built in Flash and ported to this standalone release. The store description presents a fixed, enumerated list of included content — 13 standard islands, 4 episodic islands, and a Realms sandbox mode — with no mention of planned additions or future content.
The developer has posted only three updates since launch, all of which are bug fix patches: one on June 21, 2022, one on July 22, 2022, and the last on January 23, 2023.
