Predator: Hunting Grounds

Predator: Hunting Grounds originally launched on April 29, 2021. After IllFonic regained publishing rights, CEO Charles Brungardt posted a community message on April 2, 2024 announcing a renewed commitment to the game — including a next-generation upgrade for PS5/Xbox Series X|S, multiple new Predator classes, and an ongoing content roadmap through 2025. IllFonic has delivered on all of those commitments and continued well beyond them. The full list of major content released since their return: Feral Predator (October 1, 2024), Gladiator Predator (December 10, 2024), Anubis Predator (February 13, 2025), Exalted Predator (March 25, 2025), Witch Predator (April 24, 2025), Oni Predator (August 19, 2025), Chain Whip weapon made free (November 11, 2025), Jotun Predator (January 20, 2026), Father Predator (April 28, 2026), and the Yautja Sword weapon released free to all players on July 28, 2026. This establishes a clear and sustained pattern of new content — new Predator classes, new weapons (initially as DLC early access, then released free to all players), and regular balance patches — at a cadence of roughly every 1–3 months. The most recent release was July 28, 2026, less than one month before today's date of August 24, 2026, placing us firmly within the established update window. The developer has made no statement indicating that content development is winding down.
