Pretentious Game

Pretentious Game released on May 20, 2014 as a narrative puzzle game. In December 2016, the developer announced they had reclaimed self-publishing rights and promised "more chapters" coming in 2017. That promise was fulfilled on February 1, 2017, when Chapter 5 launched as a free update alongside a Mac version — the only major content release on record for this game. There have been no developer communications of any kind since February 1, 2017, and no unreleased DLC or announced future content exists in the store listing. The developer has not indicated that additional chapters beyond Chapter 5 are in the works. Given that the 2016 announcement pointed to 2017 content that was then delivered, and nearly a decade has passed since the last update with no further communication, the game appears to have reached its final state with the Chapter 5 release.
