Prey launched on May 5, 2017 as a complete single-player experience. Post-launch, Arkane Studios shipped one major paid expansion — Prey: Mooncrash — on June 11, 2018, which also came with a free update to the base game adding Story Mode, Survival Mode, and New Game+. Mooncrash then received three free cosmetic/feature updates through the summer of 2018 (Full Moon on July 9, Blue Moon on July 25, and Blood Moon on August 7), followed by the Typhon Hunter asymmetric multiplayer mode on December 11, 2018. The original game soundtrack was released as a separate DLC on April 20, 2022, but this is a music product, not a game content update. All listed DLC is released, and the last substantive game content shipped on December 11, 2018. There have been no developer communications about future content, no unreleased DLC, no roadmaps, and no announcements of any kind since then. The developer has not explicitly stated development is over, but the pattern is clear: all announced content shipped, no new content has been teased or announced, and the game has been in maintenance silence since late 2018. Prey is a complete package.
