Project Demigod launched its 1.0 release on February 1, 2024, graduating from Early Access. Since then, Omnifarious Studios has delivered a consistent stream of major content updates: the Giant Enemies Update (April 19, 2024), the Armory Update (November 14, 2024), the Lights, Camera, Action Update (April 3, 2025), Social Multiplayer (December 2, 2025), and the Archon Update (May 16, 2026). The most recent communication from the developer was on July 22, 2026, when a bug fix patch was published that also explicitly announced Update 2.2 — set to add a new Tentacle Power Set, a Map System, and a UI Upgrade — with a target release date of July 31, 2026. As of today (August 23, 2026), that target date has passed without a confirmed release post, but the developer named this content specifically and gave a concrete timeline just one month ago. The January 2026 patch also teased artwork for an 11th power set described as "coming this year," and the game's store page notes that "full enemy combat is coming soon in a future update." The developer has been actively communicating and shipping updates throughout the game's post-launch life, and there is no indication development is slowing down.

MULTIPLE POWER SETS, INFINITE POSSIBILITIES

Mix and match a massive arsenal of classic and original superpowers on the fly. Create explosions with one hand, summon a water tentacle with the other, dash through enemies at super speed, and take out the enemies your way. Experiment to discover wild new combos—then take them for a spin.

MULTIPLAYER
