Project Hardline

Project Hardline is a solo-developed first-person shooter that launched on August 21, 2023 and received several updates over the following 18 months. On January 12, 2025, the developer shipped Major Update 1.3 — adding a new map, weapons, equipment, and an overhauled movement system — while simultaneously stating: "this may be the last major update or one of the last updates for Project Hardline as I am shifting my attention more towards other projects." A small follow-up patch (1.3.1) shipped the same day, and one final bug fix (1.3.2) was released on February 3, 2025. There have been no developer communications since that date. The developer's farewell message, combined with 17 months of silence since the last update, indicates the game has reached the end of its content lifecycle.
