Psycho地雷InLove launched as a free-to-play visual novel on June 8, 2022. Shortly after launch, the developer sold a paid artbook DLC to fund the addition of voice acting. That voice acting update was delivered on July 9, 2022, at which point the artbook DLC was made free as well, since its fundraising purpose had been fulfilled. On July 30, 2022, the developer published a post explicitly titled "Psycho地雷InLove Final Update," confirming that this voice acting addition represented the last planned update to the game. No further content has been announced or released for this title since that date. The only DLC (the artbook) has been released. Subsequent news posts from the developer are announcements of entirely separate games — not updates to this one. The game shipped as a complete product and received its final update on July 30, 2022.

The game is played in three phases - early, mid and late
The user will have four conversations with Sun-ah in each phase, and Sun-ah will ask questions related to her once.
The user answers the question based on the information obtained from the previous line with Sun-ah, and if it is correct, the likability increases and if it is incorrect, the likability decreases.
This favorability determines the ending at the last phase, and users can view various CGs and illustrations.
