Evaluation

PulseCharge launched on January 27, 2016 as a self-contained 2D platformer. Within days of release, the developer shipped one patch on January 31, 2016 that adjusted visual contrast and added a small gameplay mechanic based on player feedback. That was the last update to PulseCharge itself. The developer's subsequent news posts — from September and October 2016 through March 2017 — were all announcements for entirely separate games by the same developer. The most recent post, from August 25, 2025, confirmed the developer has moved on to a new game called "The Wind's Path," with no mention of any future work on PulseCharge. The store description describes a fixed set of features with no mention of planned additions. There are no DLC listings, no roadmap, and no outstanding commitments of any kind. PulseCharge launched as a complete, finished product and has received no content updates since January 2016.
