Pure Pool

Pure Pool launched on July 31, 2014 and received post-launch patches and updates through early 2016. Its only major paid content addition was the Snooker DLC, which shipped on October 23, 2015. All three listed DLC items — the Snooker pack, VooFoo DNA, and the Soundtrack — have been released, with no unreleased DLC remaining on the store. The last developer communication of any kind was a feature patch on February 25, 2016. Since then, VooFoo Studios and Ripstone have gone quiet on Pure Pool itself — no patches, no announcements, no roadmap. This silence of nearly a decade, combined with no outstanding content commitments, indicates that Pure Pool's content development concluded around the time of the Snooker DLC launch in October 2015. Notably, on April 17, 2025, the developer announced Pure Pool Pro — an explicitly named sequel described as "the next-generation cue-sports simulation, built from the ground up." This announcement reinforces that Pure Pool is a finished product; the developer's energy has shifted entirely to its successor. The announcement also confirms the studio is still active, meaning the prolonged silence on Pure Pool reflects intentional completion rather than studio distress.
