PUSS!

PUSS! launched on August 2, 2018. Over the years it received substantial updates, most notably the 1.2 update on July 27, 2020 (adding 30 new levels and new mechanics), and the "PUSS! otherworld" DLC on May 22, 2025 — a major paid expansion with its own soundtrack. Following that DLC release, teamcoil remained highly active throughout 2025, shipping feature patches and bug fixes in July, August, and October 2025. On December 29, 2025, teamcoil published a post explicitly teasing something new: "We have something to announce in the very near future. We are excited! Are you?" and closed with "See you in 2026." This is a direct developer statement of intent to announce upcoming content or a new project related to PUSS! However, as of today — October 8, 2026 — no such announcement has been made. The December 29, 2025 post is also the last developer communication of any kind. Throughout 2025, teamcoil was posting regularly (roughly every 1–3 months), making this silence of over nine months a significant departure from their established pattern. The promised 2026 announcement has not arrived and there is no explanation from the developer for the delay.
