Evaluation
Putt-Putt® Enters the Race is a classic children's adventure game originally published by Humongous Entertainment and re-released on Steam on May 29, 2014. It is a port of a finished, self-contained game with no DLC, no expansions, and no post-launch content roadmap of any kind. All developer activity since launch has been purely technical: engine updates to keep the ScummVM-based port running on modern operating systems (Windows 10 compatibility, 64-bit macOS support) and the addition of French, German, and Dutch language options in August 2014. The most recent developer communication was on November 26, 2019, when ScummVM was updated to version 2.1.0. There has been no developer communication since November 26, 2019, but given the game's nature as a complete, finished product, this silence is entirely consistent with a game that has no further content to ship. The game shipped as a complete package and has always been treated as such.
