Evaluation
Q-YO Blaster launched on January 15, 2018 and received a steady stream of post-launch updates over the following years: co-op was added in June 2018, new stages and bosses arrived in November 2018, a Missions mode launched in October 2019, and a Boss+ expansion to that mode followed in January 2020. The final update for Q-YO Blaster itself was a 60 FPS and language improvement patch on June 26, 2020, which noted the team had been "tremendously busy developing our new video game" — signalling that attention had shifted to new projects.
After June 2020, no further updates were made to Q-YO Blaster. The team went on to announce a separate title (Little Fighters on Stream) in April 2021, and then on August 8, 2025 posted to Q-YO Blaster's Steam page to announce the launch of yet another new game, Space Dragons — using the Q-YO Blaster news feed as a community touchpoint rather than indicating any new content for Q-YO Blaster itself. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements promising future content for this game. The store description describes the game as a complete, fully-featured package. The developer's focus has clearly moved on to new titles, and the update history for Q-YO Blaster concluded with the June 2020 patch.
Evidence
