Quern - Undying Thoughts

Quern - Undying Thoughts launched on November 28, 2016 as a self-contained first-person puzzle adventure. Following release, the developer shipped several patches through early 2018 — adding languages, quality-of-life features, performance improvements, and bug fixes — with the last of these (version 1.2.0) arriving on February 2, 2018. The only paid DLC ever released was the original soundtrack, which came out on March 27, 2017. No expansions, story additions, or additional content were ever announced or released for Quern itself. Since early 2018, the developer's communications have focused entirely on their next project, Dimhaven, which launched on June 26, 2026. A November 2024 post confirming a publishing partnership with Blue Brain Games explicitly listed Quern alongside their other titles but described no new content for it — it was simply being brought under the new publisher's umbrella. The Quern store page has no unreleased DLC and no language suggesting future content. Quern shipped as a complete, standalone experience. The developer moved on to new projects after wrapping up post-launch polish, and the game has been content-complete since at least February 2018.
