Evaluation

Quit Today launched on Steam on April 2, 2024 as a complete beat 'em-up game. On October 22–23, 2025, the developer released the game on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, accompanied by a substantial major update to the Steam version that improved combat feel, balanced gameplay, added new move sets, and made various UI/UX improvements. This console launch represents the culmination of the game's post-launch support cycle. The developer's most recent communication about Quit Today (October 22, 2025) reads as a warm farewell note: "Quit Today has come this far thanks to every supporter and friend who stood by us along the way. We sincerely thank all our development members, our publishing partners for their trust and support, and most importantly — every player who joined us on this journey." This closing sentiment, combined with the console release milestone and the simultaneous major Steam update, strongly suggests the developer considers this a natural conclusion to the game's content lifecycle. Since the October 22, 2025 post, the studio's attention has visibly shifted to their next project, Awaking Beauty (Steam App 3253950), with a November 4, 2025 announcement about that game's new key visual and upcoming demo. No further content, DLC, or updates have been announced for Quit Today. There are no unreleased DLC listings and no roadmap indicating future additions. The game has no structured live-service elements. With a complete game, a console launch serving as a meaningful endpoint, a closing developer message, and the studio now publicly focused on their next title, Quit Today appears to be a finished product with no further content expected.
Evidence
Major Steam update released alongside console launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. Developer closes the post with a heartfelt thank-you message: 'Quit Today has come this far thanks to every supporter and friend who stood by us along the way,' suggesting this marks the end of active development for the game.
