Race of Life - Act 1

Race of Life – Act 1 launched on Steam on January 10, 2025. It is the first installment of a multi-act adult visual novel series, and the developer (Underground Studio) has been consistently active since launch, delivering language localization updates, bug fixes, and regular progress reports on what comes next. The developer confirmed as early as April 2025 that Act 2 was well underway, with hundreds of images and animations already produced. By October 2025, a progress update confirmed dozens of new animations completed, an optional mini-game added, and unique voice acting being recorded. Then on February 4, 2026, the developer launched an official Steam page for Act 2, revealing that Episode 4 is fully complete and that Act 2 will release once Episodes 5 and 6 are finished. This is a clear and concrete commitment to upcoming content. The most recent developer communication was June 10, 2026, adding Brazilian Portuguese language support to Act 1 — confirming the studio remains actively engaged with the game. Act 2 is explicitly described as more substantial than Act 1, with over 3,300 renders and 175 animations already produced at the time of the February 2026 announcement. Both DLC items currently listed (a wallpaper collection and an official walkthrough) have been released. The upcoming content is Act 2, which is a separate but directly connected release in the same series.
