Raindancer launched on October 30, 2019 as a complete, self-contained boss-rush action adventure. In the weeks following launch, the developer issued a series of patches (v1.0.7 through v1.1.4) adding language translations, speedrun timer tools, quality-of-life controls improvements, and bug fixes. The last of these patches was posted on November 27, 2019. Since that date, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no new content announcements, no DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no statements about future updates. The store description presents the game as a finished product with a fixed set of features: five boss encounters, local co-op, and a hand-painted world. No DLC has ever been listed on the store. The game launched and was polished over its first month, then development activity ceased entirely. This is consistent with a game that shipped as a complete package.
