Rampage Knights

Rampage Knights launched out of Early Access on September 4, 2015 and received a strong run of post-launch content updates. The developer shipped five major updates between launch and late 2016, adding new game modes, enemies, items, curses, and a full Endless Dungeon mode. The last substantive content update was the Halloween update 1.8 on October 27, 2016, which added three new game modes and a variety of new items and enemies. On November 5, 2016, the developer posted a studio update announcing that they had begun work on their next game, Jets'n'Guns 2, and that Rampage Knights had occupied much of their time that year. This post signals a clear wind-down of active development on Rampage Knights in favor of the new project. Since then, the only update to the game was a technical maintenance patch (version 1.10) released on July 9, 2024 — nearly eight years after the last content update. That patch was explicitly described as a technical update containing bug fixes, performance improvements, and better controller support, with no new content. The developer specifically noted it was a carry-over of optimizations from the Nintendo Switch port. No DLC has ever been listed for the game, no future content has been announced, and the developer has not indicated any plans to continue adding content. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained experience and received its final content additions in late 2016.
