RATSHAKER™

RATSHAKER™ launched on October 31, 2024 and has received a consistent stream of updates from Sunscorched Studios ever since. On February 21, 2025, the developer shipped the "New Improved Formula Director's Cut" — a major overhaul adding a save system, a significantly expanded basement, new models, reworked audio, and new endings. Cosmetic DLC followed with the Supporter Pack (April 4, 2025), the Rat-Chan Pack (March 22, 2026), the RATSUMMER Pack (June 28, 2026), and The MOMMY Pack (July 22, 2026). Between major releases, the team has also posted feature patches adding gamepad vibration, FOV and brightness sliders, DLSS support, localization updates, and various bug fixes. The previous evaluation flagged the March 27, 2026 "Alien Invasion" teaser as unshipped planned content. That teaser was almost certainly referring to the RATDOG RITUAL UPDATE (released June 21, 2026), which featured an alien crash site, alien-themed content, and a new free cosmetic skin — fulfilling what was previewed. That content has now shipped. As of today (August 19, 2026), the most recent developer communication was July 22, 2026 (The MOMMY Pack launch). The studio has maintained a sustained pattern of major content releases — roughly one every 1–4 months — with no statement indicating development is concluding. No specific future content has been announced, but given the active and frequent cadence, the game is clearly still receiving ongoing substantial updates. All currently listed DLC is released.
