Realm Grinder launched on Steam on June 15, 2017 and has received a sustained stream of post-launch content ever since. Five major content updates are on record: v3.4.0 on November 27, 2018 (three new factions), v3.6.0 on July 15, 2019 (Ascension 3), v4.0.0 on December 16, 2020 (Ascension 4), and v4.3.0 on March 26, 2025 (a wide-ranging overhaul adding new reincarnation powers, Ascension 3 and 4 improvements, and major QoL systems). The v4.3.0 post explicitly stated that development would resume toward new endgame content, naming Ascension 5 as the next goal. Following that major release, the team shipped five feature patches between April 2025 and February 3, 2026 (v4.3.1 through v4.3.9), maintaining an active and regular update cadence. The most recent developer communication is dated February 3, 2026. The developer has given no indication that development is winding down — quite the opposite, as the v4.3.0 post framed the update as a foundation for future content, and subsequent patches have continued to refine and expand the game.
