Rebirth Online

Rebirth Online is a free-to-play massively multiplayer RPG that entered Steam Early Access on August 3, 2020. It is built around a continuous live-service model: the game features a rotating in-game shop with seasonal packs, subscription-style passes, gacha boxes, collection sets, and time-limited event goods that cycle regularly. This structure is designed to keep players engaged and spending indefinitely, with no defined content endpoint. During its active period on Steam, the developer (Caret Games) posted updates multiple times per month — including server maintenance notices, new event rollouts, shop refreshes, feature patches, and occasional major content drops such as the new Oceanus server launch on December 24, 2020 and the Korea New Year event content on February 11, 2021. The cadence was consistent and frequent throughout late 2020 and into early 2021. However, the last developer communication on Steam was posted on February 11, 2021. Since that date — now more than five years ago as of June 2026 — no updates, patch notes, events, or announcements of any kind have been published. For a game that previously maintained a very active weekly update rhythm, this complete silence is highly unusual and raises serious questions about whether the game is still being actively operated or supported on the Steam platform. The game remains purchasable (it is free-to-play) and still carries its Early Access flag, but the absence of any developer communication since February 2021 means there is no way to confirm the current state of the game's servers or ongoing development.
