Red Alliance

Red Alliance launched on October 10, 2018 as a complete single-player campaign game. Since launch, the developer (2ndUp Studios) has shipped a series of feature patches — in August 2019, October 2019, December 2019, February 2020, and most recently October 26, 2023 — each adding quality-of-life improvements, balance tweaks, visual enhancements, and bug fixes. None of these updates introduced new story chapters or major content expansions; the 9-chapter campaign that shipped at launch has remained the full scope of the game. The October 26, 2023 update (v1.4) is notable for two reasons: it included "major backend changes and improvements to game's architecture" described as important for "long term support and future changes," and it closed with the line "we plan to do more updates in the future." However, this language refers to continued maintenance and polish rather than any announced new content (no named DLC, expansion, or roadmap was described). The game has no DLC listings, no season pass, and no unreleased content on the store. Following the October 2023 update, there have been no further developer communications through June 2026 — a gap of over two and a half years. While the developer expressed intent to keep updating the game, the pattern of updates has always been maintenance-focused, and the long silence since October 2023 suggests active development has wound down. The game is a self-contained, story-complete single-player experience with no outstanding content commitments.
