Red Embrace: Hollywood

Red Embrace: Hollywood launched on August 31, 2019 as a complete visual novel with 3 routes, 15 endings, and over 230,000 words of content. Shortly after launch, the developer released a small wave of bug-fix patches to address ending logic issues, with the last significant patch noted in September 2019. On October 7, 2019, the developer shipped the final DLC add-ons — an original soundtrack and an artbook — rounding out the game's commercial release. Both DLC items are now released, and no additional DLC has been listed on the store since then. After October 2019, the developer's Steam news posts for this game shifted entirely to announcements about new, separate projects: a prequel called Red Embrace: Mezzanine (released July 2021), a sequel in development called Red Embrace: Paradisus, a standalone BL visual novel called Dead Man's Rest, and other titles. None of these posts indicate any new content planned for Red Embrace: Hollywood itself. The developer has not announced any future updates, expansions, or additional content for Red Embrace: Hollywood. The game shipped as a self-contained story-driven visual novel, its supplementary DLC has all been released, and the studio has moved on to new projects. The game is complete.
