Refind Self: The Personality Test Game launched on Steam on November 13, 2023 as a complete, self-contained adventure experience. The game shipped with a soundtrack DLC on November 14, 2023, which is the only DLC in its catalog and has been released.
Since launch, the developer (Lizardry) has released several post-launch patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements, plus two feature updates adding language support (French, Italian, German, Spanish), UI improvements, and personality-sharing tools like QR codes. The game also launched on Nintendo Switch on October 3, 2024.
The most recent update was a bug fix on January 6, 2025, addressing a mini-game progression issue. A security patch was released on October 8, 2025, but this was explicitly noted as containing no content changes. The 2nd anniversary post from November 14, 2025 celebrated the milestone and 500,000 copies sold, and highlighted a new bundle with Lizardry's other titles — but made no mention of new content, updates, or future plans for Refind Self itself.

You are an android. The story begins with you standing at the grave of the Doctor who created you.
