Remorse: The List launched on April 22, 2022 and received patches and quality-of-life updates in the weeks following release. On July 24, 2022, the developer announced a free story DLC (working title "Four Walls") was in development. That DLC shipped on February 23, 2023 under the name "Another Past," adding a new story perspective, puzzles, and lore. Console ports (Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and later PlayStation 4) were also released on the same date, published in partnership with Feardemic. On September 22, 2023, the developer posted a formal closing statement confirming that the game is now considered finished — they stated: "we consider this game finished (aside from support and bug fixes, of course)" — and announced they had moved on to a new project called BloodSworn. No further content has been announced for Remorse: The List since that post.
