Evaluation
Repair This! launched on April 19, 2024. At launch, the developer stated they planned to work on updates "for the coming year." They followed through, shipping several feature updates through mid-2024: a post-launch bug fix on April 21, a small balance update on May 12, a new police storyline update on May 22, and the "Live Street 2.0" update on June 27, 2024. The June 27 post mentioned plans to add more stories and events "in the future," but this was a general comment rather than a specific commitment.
After June 27, 2024, there were no further updates to Repair This! itself. The developer's attention shifted entirely to a new standalone game called In Trusted Hands. A Steam page for that new game was announced on January 15, 2026, with the developer explicitly noting that "Repair This! remains its own complete experience. In Trusted Hands is not a sequel." This statement directly confirms that Repair This! is considered finished. In Trusted Hands released on May 7, 2026.
The only DLC — a soundtrack — shipped on June 19, 2024, with no unreleased DLC on the store. The developer's January 2026 statement describing Repair This! as a "complete experience" is the clearest signal that development has concluded.
