Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets launched on February 1, 2023 as a fully featured game with 25 story levels, 5 bonus challenges, unlockable skins, and multiple gameplay modifiers. The developer released two post-launch patches — one on February 4, 2023 adding 4K resolution support and fixing bugs, and another on February 22, 2023 rebalancing target scores and fixing localization issues. That February 22 patch appears to be the last developer communication on record. The only DLC is the game's original soundtrack, which also released on launch day. INFINITE REPLAYABILITY AND CHALLENGE WITH LEVEL MODIFIERS
Aside from difficulty modes and highscore achievements, there are several modifiers to ramp up the challenge and replay value.
Mix different level modifiers to get unique results:
- Speed up any song with the Turbo Mode
- Refresh your muscle memory using the Mirror Mode
- Shuffle the notes to get a unique beatmap
- Or wing it entirely with the always-changing Totally Random Mode
On top of that, Rhythm Sprout features gimmicky bonus levels for extra fun.
