Ricochet

Ricochet launched on November 1, 2000 as a complete, standalone multiplayer action game. In the years following release, Valve issued occasional maintenance updates: a 2013 update added Mac and Linux support and migrated the game to the SteamPipe content system, followed by security and stability patches in 2017 and 2018, and a minor engine fix in October 2019 that came through shared Half-Life resources. None of these updates introduced new gameplay content — they were purely technical and platform support work. No new maps, modes, or gameplay features have been added since launch, no DLC has ever been listed, and Valve has made no announcements of future content for the game. The most recent developer communication of any kind was on October 8, 2019. Ricochet launched as a finished product and has remained one ever since.
