Riptide GP2 launched on Steam on March 7, 2014 as a polished, feature-complete port of an existing mobile game — described at launch as "the most polished, feature-rich version of Riptide GP2 available on any platform." The developer shipped one post-launch feature patch on April 7, 2014 (adding a multiplayer waiting room and various fixes), and that appears to be the extent of post-launch developer activity on the Steam version. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmaps, no announcements of future content, and no developer communications beyond April 2014. The store description presents the game as a complete package with a fixed feature set. With over 12 years of silence since the last update, this game was clearly shipped as a finished product and has received no further development.
