Evaluation
Rising Hell launched out of Early Access on May 19, 2021. At launch, the developer stated they planned to add more content going forward. They followed through with one post-launch major content update — the Bloodline Update on January 17, 2022 — which added a new playable character, Val the Darkseed. That marks the only major post-launch content drop after the 1.0 release.
Since the Bloodline Update in January 2022, there have been no further major content releases, no announcements of upcoming DLC or expansions, and no roadmap pointing to additional content. The most recent developer communication is a Steam Summer Sale promotional post from June 29, 2024, which simply highlights the game at a discount alongside other Toge Productions titles — it contains no indication of new content in development.
Both DLC items (the Soundtrack and Artbook) were released on launch day and represent the complete DLC catalog. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store.
The gap between the last major content update (January 17, 2022) and today (June 27, 2026) spans over four years — well beyond the game's established post-launch update pattern of a single content drop. The developer has not announced any further content, and the game's store description does not reference any planned additions. Rising Hell appears to be a complete, finished product with no further content development signaled.
