Roboquest VR launched on November 20, 2025 as a full VR rebuild of the acclaimed flatscreen roguelite. The developer has been consistently active since launch. In the first months after release, they shipped Patch 1 (November 26, 2025), Patch 3 (January 29, 2026) — which teased the upcoming Superbot character — and Patch 4 (March 24, 2026), which added four new weapons and the new Superbot playable class. On January 7, 2026, the developer explicitly stated "We're just getting started" after winning Upload VR's PC VR Game of the Year 2025. On June 26, 2026, they announced that 2-player online co-op was arriving in July, and on July 23, 2026, that co-op feature shipped as a free update — fulfilling the "Brobot" co-op feature that had been listed as "Coming Soon" on the store page since launch. Cross-play between VR platforms was included. Two further bug-fix patches followed on July 29 and August 7, 2026, the most recent official communication from the developer. The previously announced co-op feature has now shipped, and no specific future content has been named since. However, the developer has maintained a strong, consistent update cadence across multiple major updates and frequent patches, with the most recent activity on August 7, 2026. Given the developer's stated intent to continue development and the sustained pace of updates throughout the game's first year, the game is actively receiving substantial post-launch support. No announcement of a content conclusion has been made.
