Rocket Boots Mania officially launched on January 23, 2025, following an Early Access period. Since then, Luma Play has been consistently active, shipping major updates at a pace of roughly one every 1–3 months. The update history includes: Speedrun Mode (February 19, 2025), Create Mode launched with lore content (November 26, 2024, pre-1.0), Multiplayer Beta 1.1 (July 3, 2025), the 'Reborn' public multiplayer update (July 28, 2025), Hard Mode and Desert Biome (March 25, 2026), the ZLAN 26 update with 64-player lobbies and spectator mode (April 22, 2026), 250-Player Multiplayer (May 13, 2026), the 'Replay' update with input display and time control (July 4, 2026), and most recently the 'Graphics' update with a full visual overhaul, performance mode, and Vulkan support (August 3, 2026). That's nine major content updates across roughly 19 months since 1.0 launch. The developer's January 2025 launch post explicitly stated "we're not stopping here — as long as there's a community that enjoys this game, we'll keep building." The most recent major update was on August 3, 2026 — just 16 days before today — placing the game squarely within its active development window. The developer has not announced a final update or end to content support.
