Rocket Rats

Rocket Rats launched on December 17, 2024 as a survivors-like action game. Since launch, the developer shipped four feature updates: version 1.1.0 on December 7, 2024 (pre-release balance/mechanics update), version 1.2.0 on December 22, 2024 (Upgrades Collection, QoL, balance), version 1.3.0 on February 3, 2025 (Steam Trading Cards, new upgrades, balance), and version 1.4.0 on January 25, 2026 (localization for eight new languages). The gap between the last two feature patches is roughly 12 months (February 3, 2025 to January 25, 2026). As of today, September 24, 2026, it has been approximately 8 months since the most recent developer communication. The historical cadence between major updates spans roughly 1–12 months, but the last update appears to be a localization/polish pass rather than a content expansion — and the developer has made no announcements of further updates or planned content since January 25, 2026. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap or announcement of upcoming content, and no developer statement indicating ongoing development. Given that the silence now exceeds the longest observed interval between updates and the last update was a localization wrap-up (a typical signal of a game being finished off), the game appears to have reached its completed state. No statement has been made declaring completion outright, but the evidence pattern supports this conclusion.
