Rogue Company

Rogue Company is a free-to-play, live-service tactical shooter that launched into full release on July 20, 2021 (after leaving Beta). The game operates on a rotating monetized content model — Battle Passes, Event Passes, seasonal cosmetics, and Limited-Time Modes — which is inherently designed for ongoing indefinite support. The game had a healthy cadence of major content updates through 2022 and into 2023: the Rambo/King Cobra update (March 2022), Operation Daybreak with the Wasteland Wilds Battle Pass and new Rogue Juke (June 2022), the Three Wishes Event Pass with a new map (April 2023), the ViVi character update (July 2023), and the Winter Warfare Event Pass with a reworked map (November 2023). However, on August 15, 2023, Evil Mojo — the studio that merged with First Watch Games and took over Rogue Company development — published a transparency post explaining that the team is small, handles multiple projects, and that updates would be significantly slower going forward. They stated the focus would shift to balance patches and quality-of-life improvements rather than major new content, with no more large overhauls planned. The last developer communication on record is a balance hotfix posted on February 19, 2024. Since that date — now over 28 months ago as of June 27, 2026 — there have been no announcements, patch notes, or developer posts of any kind. The game's last major content update was the Winter Warfare update on November 20, 2023, over 31 months ago. The developer never announced the game was shutting down or that servers were closing. The game remains purchasable and free-to-play. But the extended period without any official communication, combined with the studio's own admission in August 2023 that it was a small team with competing priorities, makes it genuinely uncertain whether the game is still receiving any meaningful support or whether it has quietly entered maintenance-only status.
