Rogue Hex launched its 1.0 release on August 9, 2025, following a period of Early Access that began in January 2025. The solo developer at Topstitch Games has maintained a remarkable and sustained pace of major content updates throughout the game's development and since launch. The news history shows 18 major content releases in total, beginning with alpha updates in mid-2024 (Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, Industrial, Modern eras) and continuing through Early Access and beyond 1.0 launch. Post-launch major updates include: the Information Era (April 21, 2025), the 1.0 release itself with new leader Siddhartha and additional content (August 9, 2025), the Speculation Era adding 11 new technologies and numerous other items (November 1, 2025), and the Anniversary Update adding 6 new cards, 2 new traits, and additional items (February 14, 2026). Across the post-Early Access period alone, major updates arrived roughly every 1–4 months. The most recent major content drop was the Anniversary Update on February 14, 2026. As of today, September 24, 2026, approximately 7 months have passed since that last major update — which does push slightly beyond the upper end of the historical 1–4 month cadence window. However, no developer statement has indicated that development is concluding. The 1.0 launch post itself said "there's still so much left to explore," and the Early Access launch post said "we're just getting started." Neither the store description nor any news post signals the end of updates. The game also has an active community and 17 feature patches in addition to the 18 major content drops, indicating sustained engagement. Given the developer is a solo creator and the Anniversary Update message was warm and personal ("Happy anniversary!!"), a slightly longer gap does not yet indicate a break in the pattern — it is consistent with the longer end of their documented range. The developer has not gone silent in any alarming or unprecedented way relative to their established pattern.
