Röki launched on July 23, 2020 as a complete, story-driven adventure game. Following launch, Polygon Treehouse released several patches through December 7, 2020 — adding macOS support, a multi-slot save system, and various bug fixes. On October 8, 2020, a Deluxe Edition was released, bundling the game with its original soundtrack and an art book. Both DLC items (the soundtrack and the Deluxe Edition Upgrade) have been released, and no additional DLC has been announced or listed.
The developer's post-launch communications shifted entirely to promoting their next game. On August 9, 2023, Polygon Treehouse announced their follow-up title, Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, framing it explicitly as "our next game following Röki." That game launched on December 5, 2024. There have been no announcements of new content for Röki, no roadmaps, and no developer statements suggesting further updates. The studio has clearly moved on to other projects. Röki shipped as a self-contained narrative game and all post-launch work appears to have concluded by late 2020.
