Evaluation

Rollout Inline entered Steam Early Access on September 15, 2026, developed by a solo developer (Michel) after approximately 1.5 years of work. The Steam Early Access flag is confirmed active, which is the authoritative signal for this phase classification — superseding the previous evaluation's incorrect 'released' classification. On launch day (September 15, 2026), the developer posted a personal note describing this as an Early Access game that is "currently in development," acknowledged that bugs may be encountered, and framed the launch as a beginning: "This is only the beginning, and I'm excited to start this journey with you all and build something truly special." The very next day (September 16, 2026), a Day One patch shipped with gameplay improvements and bug fixes, closing with "More to come very soon" — reinforcing that active development is underway. The developer is clearly engaged, responsive, and has explicitly communicated that additional content and improvements are coming. There is no roadmap or named future content, but the developer's own words make clear this is an ongoing project, not a finished product.

Challenges will show up in every map, and once you complete a batch of challenges, your map level increases and a new set of challenges will appear, with each level increasing the difficulty! Challenges from an earlier level are always replayable.

Multiple Maps
