Roundguard

Roundguard launched on March 13, 2020 and received a strong run of free post-launch content updates: the Treasure Hunter Update (July 24, 2020), the Gift Giver Update (December 16, 2020), the Druid Update adding a new playable hero (June 24, 2021), and finally the Encore 2.0 Update (April 28, 2022), which the developer described as their "biggest update of them all" and explicitly framed as a capstone — noting it brought the game "up to a solid version 2.0, two years after we first launched" and summarizing the full arc of additions made over the game's life. No further major content updates have shipped since April 28, 2022. The developer's March 13, 2023 anniversary post confirmed that after completing the mobile port of Roundguard, the team would "go back to working on our new game," signaling that Roundguard's development chapter was closing. On June 8, 2025, the developer formally announced their next game, Arcane Eats, describing "years of updates and support for Roundguard" in the past tense. Seasonal events (like the December 2025 winter event) have continued as recurring in-game content, but these were established as an annual tradition back in 2020 and do not represent new development commitments. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which has been released. All evidence points to Roundguard having reached its content-complete state with the Encore 2.0 Update on April 28, 2022.
