About this game
The ricochet roguelike. Bounce a marble off as many walls as you can before it hits a target; every bounce multiplies the shot. Between levels, collect modifiers that bend the scoring rules, and push your score until it stops looking like a number.
Drag to aim, release to fire. Every wall the marble touches before it hits its first target multiplies that shot, so the greedy play is never the straight line -- it's the long, four-bounce route around the whole room. And the marble stays exactly where it stops, hit or miss, so every shot is also a choice of where to take the next one from. Reach each level's score target before you run out of shots. Clear all twelve levels to finish the run.
Between levels, spend your coins in the shop: modifiers (the game calls them cameos) that change how a shot scores, packs of upgrades to crack open, and special targets that pay out extra. Gamble a modifier on the wheel to upgrade it -- or lose it. You won't know what most modifiers do until you own one, and a few of them turn multiplication into exponentiation.
- 131 modifiers across four rarities -- they trigger left to right, so the order you place them in matters
- 7 hand-built maps of 12 levels each -- the layout stays put all run, so it's a board you learn, not one you see once
- Upgrade packs, 6 kinds of special target, and a wheel that can upgrade a modifier or break it
- Endless mode: after level twelve the levels keep coming, and the score keeps compounding long after it stops fitting on screen
- Shareable seeds: a four-word code lets a friend play the exact same run
- 7 board styles to choose from and 24 Steam achievements to earn
- A marble that chimes off the stone, rising in pitch with every wall it hits
- About 25 minutes a run. No tutorial -- drag, release, and the first shot explains the rest
