Run Build Pew!

Run Build Pew! launched on June 6, 2022 as a small indie project by two-person studio Knight Owl Games. The game received active post-launch updates, including a major content update on July 15, 2022 that added 5 new missions, 10 new parts, new enemies, global leaderboards, and Steam Trading Cards. On February 5, 2023, the developers published a detailed post explaining the studio's situation and explicitly stating that the game is complete: "after a lot of consideration, we believe the game is complete, it has over 31 upgradable abilities, 6 game modes, leaderboards for each mode, and a fair RNG to ensure decent replayability each time, we believe that is a fair amount of content for a 3$ game, thus we have to focus our studio effort on our new title." The developers confirmed they are moving on to their next game, Station Watch. Following that announcement, one additional quality-of-life patch shipped on March 4, 2023, adding full controller support — a feature that had been requested but not previously delivered. No further updates have been made since then, consistent with the developers' stated intent to conclude work on this title. The game is finished and represents the complete intended experience.
