Rush Rover launched out of Early Access on November 29, 2017 after roughly a year of Early Access development. At launch, the developer noted they "would still keep updating this game and reacting to player feedback." True to that, the game received one notable post-launch addition: a local co-op mode added on June 12, 2018. That is the last recorded update of any kind from the developer. The only DLC — the game's soundtrack — shipped on November 30, 2017, the day after launch. No additional DLC has been listed, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and there have been no developer communications since June 12, 2018. The game appears to have launched as a feature-complete product that received one meaningful post-launch addition before development concluded.

About this game

Rush Rover is a 2D top-down shooter game. Compared to other similar games of the genre, the shooting experience is closer to traditional shoot'em up games. It includes random map generation, unique weapons, lots of different enemies, exciting boss battles and a dynamic chiptune soundtrack.

In the universe of Rush Over, intelligent robots and mining exploration have spread over every known galaxy. After the war of independence against humanity, these highly intelligent and powerful machines attempt to rule over everything so they start hacking other robots. You control a "clean" mining rover, picking up weapons and rushing to survive!
