Evaluation
Russian Train Trip launched on December 28, 2021 and received a handful of bug fix and minor feature patches in its early months, with the last known update on January 24, 2024. Since that update, the developer (Stop-TussiN) has shifted focus entirely to new projects: they announced Trans-Siberian Express in January 2024, Russian Train Trip 2 back in March 2023, Red October in late 2024, and most recently a new game called Red Passport: Deported in March 2026. There is no announced future content for Russian Train Trip, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no developer statement suggesting further updates are planned. The developer has clearly moved on to building new titles in the same genre. Russian Train Trip appears to have reached its final state as of the January 2024 patch.
